Chanel No. 22 was Ernest Beaux's second creation for Gabriel Chanel, the first being No. 5, which was introduced in 1921.

A little correction to my previos message.
I wrote the previous bottles from "1930-1950". Thats incorrect. It need to say "the bottles from 1924-1950".

This bottle can be dated back to the years between 1950 and 1970.
This is particularly evident from the bottle's cap. It still has a narrow but already rectangular cap. What is special about it is that the upper facet is slightly thicker than the lower one. This makes it significantly different from the previous bottle, which was used from 1930 to 1950. The lid of this bottle was also already rectangularly faceted, but the lid was much flatter. Among other things, because both the top and bottom of the cap were equally narrow.
You can also still see the wonderfully crafted shoulder section on the bottle. The bottles had wider facets and the corners and the entire shoulder section was a little bit softer, more rounded, than is the case with the new bottles.
A very beautiful example. I suspect it was made between 1950 and 1970.
It would be easier to analyze it when there were more pictures. Do you have any?
